Psychological and Psychoeducational Assessment and Consultation
Psychoeducational and Neurodevelopmental Assessments
These assessments are intended to identify learning strengths and needs, while also identifying the presence of neurodevelopmental conditions such as Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Developmental Disorder, and Learning Disabilities in children, adolescents and adults. Recommendations for academic and psychosocial supports are provided to assist the individual in meeting their potential, including how families, educators and support providers can facilitate these goals. These assessments can also determine eligibility for services such as those provided through Autism Ontario and Developmental Services Ontario.
Mental Health Assessments
These assessments are intended to identify the presence, nature, and severity of emotional and/or mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and adults. Recommendations for evidenced-based treatments and support strategies are included. These can assist primary care workers and other regulated health professionals in treatment planning.
Behavioural Consultation
Behavioural consultation involving consultation concerning the creation and/or supervision Behaviour Support Plans (BSP) for adults supported by Developmental Services Ontario agencies and families, from a biopsychosocial, holistic, and evidence-based perspective.
